Details :

S09 is a cushion seal specially designed to protect damping of piston head on gland surface where high pressure peaks occur. It is also called damping seal in pneumatic application. This profile also allows pressure to pass back into the system preventing a pressure trap between the rod seal and the buffer seal. It is an excellent pressure buffer option in heavy-duty applications and offers extended sealing system life and performance.
