Details :
P31 is an asymmetrical piston seal for general purpose and has good overall performance. Due to typical piston sealing design having a shorter external lip, it allows pressure to act into the groove ensuring a maximum lip contact with the bore in pressurised conditions. It is a seal suited for split piston but can also be used with a single piston if made in NBR. P31 seal is available in polyurethane material also. Due to excellent wear resistance properties of polyurethane, the life expected is 3 times than that of NBR.

COMPATIBILITY
Mineral oils, bio oils, water soluble & water glycol fluids.
APPLICATION
  • Light to medium duty hydraulic cylinders.
  • Also suitable for double acting cylinders.
  • Can also be used in an equivalent of SUA piston seal.
FEATURES
  • Good purpose seal.
  • Good overall performance.
  • Very good static and dynamic tightness.
  • Any size up to 3000 mm dia. available on request.
